WidgetBee ("the App") is developed and operated by Eaglet Workshop Ltd ("we," "our," or "us"), registered in Hong Kong. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy.
1. Local Data Storage & Widget Customization
- On-Device Data: WidgetBee is primarily a local widget creation tool. All custom widget designs, color themes (Light, Dark, Honeycomb, App Tint), layouts (Small and Medium widgets), topics, text alignments, prefix/suffix values, and default fallback values are stored locally on your iPhone. We do not operate external servers to collect or store your custom widget designs or text inputs.
- Apple Shortcuts Integration: When you use Apple Shortcuts to send data into your WidgetBee widgets, all data processing happens entirely on your device. We do not monitor, capture, or store the contents of your Shortcuts or data updates.
2. Information Collected via Third-Party Services
While your widget content stays on your device, we use standard third-party tools to help manage digital purchases and app features:
- In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (RevenueCat): We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes non-personally identifiable purchase details, such as Apple purchase receipts, transaction times, product IDs, and an automatically generated anonymous User ID. This information is used strictly to unlock premium features, verify purchases, and view overall app sales trends.
- No Cross-App Tracking: We do not use your data for targeted advertising, nor do we sell or share your information with ad networks or data brokers.
3. App Permissions
WidgetBee requests only the permissions necessary to display widgets on your Home Screen or Today View, receive data sent from Apple Shortcuts, and securely process in-app purchases through Apple.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
All custom widget configurations remain on your iPhone. Deleting WidgetBee from your device will permanently erase all locally stored widget designs and settings.
5. Compliance & International Transfers
Eaglet Workshop Ltd is based in Hong Kong. Third-party services like RevenueCat may store purchase records on secure cloud servers located outside Hong Kong. By using the App, you agree to this operational processing.
