Terms and Conditions for WidgetBee

By downloading, installing, or using WidgetBee ("the App"), provided by Eaglet Workshop Ltd ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. License and Scope of Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use WidgetBee on any iPhone you own or control, strictly for personal, non-commercial widget creation in accordance with these Terms.

2. App Functionality and User Responsibilities

• Local Customization: WidgetBee provides tools allowing you to design Small and Medium widgets for display on your Home Screen or Today View, customize themes (Light, Dark, Honeycomb, App Tint), format up to three rows of data, set prefixes/suffixes, manage default fallback text, adjust text alignment, and toggle timestamps or topic headers.
• Shortcuts & External Data: You are solely responsible for the setup, safety, and accuracy of any Apple Shortcuts or data feeds you connect to WidgetBee.
• Prohibited Uses: You agree not to use widget text fields or topics to display content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, or infringes upon third-party copyrights or trademarks.

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

• Transactions and subscriptions within WidgetBee are processed by Apple Inc. via the App Store and managed using RevenueCat.
• Payments, renewals, and cancellations are managed according to Apple’s standard App Store billing policies. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple Support.

4. Intellectual Property

• App Ownership: The App, including its design, code, widget structure, and branding (including the "Honeycomb" theme and "WidgetBee" name) are the exclusive property of Eaglet Workshop Ltd.
• Your Customizations: You retain ownership of any original text content you manually type into your widgets.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

WidgetBee is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We cannot guarantee that widget updates (such as automatic timestamp refreshes or data updates via Shortcuts) will be instant or continuous, as widget updates are scheduled and controlled by Apple’s iOS system policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eaglet Workshop Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, or from incorrect data displayed via misconfigured Apple Shortcuts.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be handled exclusively by the courts of Hong Kong.

8. Apple Standard Terms

These Terms supplement Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s standard EULA, Apple’s standard terms shall apply regarding your relationship with Apple.
